Braselton, Ga. (August 28, 2014) — Skip Barber Racing School is excited to announce its participation in the highly anticipated season finale of the Trans-Am Series on September 19 and 20 at Lime Rock Park.
Skip Barber Racing School will field up to 10 open-wheel formula cars in the two day event, giving a select group of drivers the unique opportunity to race in the high profile contest. At a cost of $4200, racers will receive full support from Skip Barber instructors and mechanics as well as a dedicated vehicle to race at the event – a total arrive-and-drive solution for aspiring race car drivers.
“It is exciting to have the opportunity to participate as the support race for the iconic Trans Am series,” says Skip Barber Race Series Coordinator Jeff Lail. “Lime Rock Park is a great track that surely will not disappoint in excitement.”
Participation in the Trans-Am Racing Series is just one of many ways that Skip Barber Racing School is providing fans of the sport a chance to participate in professional racing. Skip Barber racers can also participate in the Skip Barber MAZDASPEED Pro Challenge, a professional racing series designed to launch the career of talented sports car drivers.
