Skip Barber Racing School Alumni in Contention for Championships in Mazda Road to Indy Season Finale
Braselton, Ga.(September 10,2015)—As the Mazda Road to Indy wraps up their season this weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca it is no surprise to see Skip Barber Racing School alumni challenging for every championship. The USF2000, Pro Mazda and Indy Lights Series all see some of the best talent that has come out of the Skip Barber Racing School program over the last few years.
Looking at the USF2000 field, Jake Eidson sits in second with a shot at the title. Eidson in his sophomore year has impressed many with his multiple Skip Barber Racing Series championships. Aaron Telitz currently sits P3 in the USF2000 championship, Telitz was the 2013 Skip Barber Championship Shootout winner. His season had some bad luck but on any given day he is as fast as anyone. Luke Gabin, Garth Rickards, Nikita Latochkin, and Ayla Agren look to close out successful rookie campaigns as all 4 sit in the top 10 in points going into the finale.
In the Pro Mazda Series, former Karts to Cars Scholarship Shootout participant Neil Alberico is charging hard to win the championship.
