Now in its 30th year, the Skip Barber Race Series is the largest open-wheel amateur championship in North America. Each year, hundreds of drivers take part in exciting, fun and hassle-free open-wheel racing at dozens of North America's finest race tracks. It is specifically designed to be financially and geographically accessible. It's much easier to get involved than you might think!

Yes, drivers with career aspirations have long used the Race Series as their jumping-off point, and for many good reasons. But the majority of drivers in the Race Series are just like you; people between 35 and 65 years old, who love motorsport and have found a tremendously fun, hassle-free way to race, as a hobby or avocation. The mix of equal cars, the arrive-and-drive format (we bring everything, from the cars to the racing suits) and the fantastic camaraderie between all the competitors bring many drivers back year after year.

Skip Barber Racing operates four different regional championships -- East, Midwest, South and West -- so that no matter the time of year, there are at least two championships to choose from. You can do just one Race Weekend -- or as many as you like!

There are eligibility requirements, but if you are a graduate of the Skip Barber Three-Day Racing School (or other recognized competition course), you are only a few "Advanced Activities" away from taking your first green flag! Please contact a School and Series Advisor for more details. "Drivers, start... your... engines!"
