Skip Barber Racing School, the largest and most successful professional motorsports education company in the United States, will return to NOLA Motorsports Park on the following dates:

Skip Barber Racing School will offer their Introduction to Racing and 3 Day Racing School, High Performance and Racing Combo, 1 Day Racing School, 2 Day Advanced Racing School and Mazda MX5 3 Day Racing School programs at NOLA Motorsports Park.
In addition to the courses being held in the Fall, Skip Barber Racing School will also host it’s annual Skip Barber Karts to Cars Scholarship Shootout at the track. The event will take place on October 26-28, 2015.
NOLA Motorsport Park hosted the 14th Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals in 2013 and brought together 288 of the world’s best kart drivers, coming from close to 60 nations. It’s strong history of supporting the karting community opened the door to why it was chosen for this year’s Karts to Cars Shootout location.
Karters will compete for awards that will aid them into transitioning into racecar drivers. Scholarships won will go towards the Skip Barber Race Series. The intensive shootout has groomed the careers of future motorsports legends including Ryan Hunter-Reay, Josef Newgarden and many more.
“Our goal is to bring Motorsports to more people across the country,” says Director, Operations Earle Hollings, “and NOLA Motorsports Park is a fantastic addition to our schedule. It recently hosted its first INDYCAR race this year and we know that people want to test out this relatively new track. Additionally – there is a huge karting community in the area that will surely benefit from the Karts to Cars Scholarship Shootout. We’re excited to offer these programs to racing enthusiasts in the area.”
